Grab your sweatbands, dust off your leg warmers and dig out that outfit you've been waiting decades to wear.

Undie Party {Playback} is a celebration of the eras that shaped us. From 80s aerobics and roller discos to 90s club culture and Y2K nostalgia, we're throwing it back to the fashion and memories that still make us smile.

Our DJs will soundtrack a journey through the night with house, melodic grooves and feel-good energy, while a collection of playful installations invites you to reconnect with your inner child, challenge a stranger to a game, and create a few new memories along the way.

Genitals must be covered. All nipples are equal.

Dresscode: Playback

Think retro sportswear, vintage lingerie, aerobics icons, netball skirts, rugby shorts, cricket whites, sweatbands, roller-rink glamour, old-school gym gear, disco nostalgia or any era that calls you back.

Whether you're channelling Olivia Newton-John, a 90s rave kid, your school disco years, or your favourite decade entirely, this is your chance to hit rewind.

Manisah is a DJ and sound dreamer who knows how to take a dance floor on a journey. Inspired by her years in Berlin’s legendary electronic music scene, she blends silky downtempo grooves, deep house rhythms and melodic textures into sets that feel both timeless and transportive.

For Playback, Manisah invites you to rewind, fast-forward or hit repeat — whether you're channeling 80s aerobics, 90s club culture or your own favourite era entirely. With carefully crafted selections and an instinct for reading a room, she creates immersive musical moments that keep bodies moving and imaginations wandering.

Expect warm grooves, deep rhythms and a soundtrack worthy of your favourite throwback.

Bella is a natural performer who brings infectious energy to every dance floor she steps behind. Drawing inspiration from her rich multicultural background, she crafts uplifting musical journeys that weave together ethnic, progressive, organic and melodic house into something truly her own.

For Playback, Bella invites you to revisit the eras that shaped you — from the neon optimism of the 80s to the dance-floor memories of decades past. Guided by feeling rather than formula, her sets build connection, emotion and momentum, creating those hands-in-the-air moments that linger long after the music fades.

Auckland nightlife veteran Marjorie Sinclair has spent more than a decade shaping the city's soundtrack, both behind the decks and behind the scenes. From major festivals and brand launches to some of Auckland’s most respected venues, she has built a reputation for delivering unforgettable dance-floor moments time and time again.

Originally from Brazil, Marjorie brings a vibrant global perspective to every set, seamlessly blending infectious rhythms, uplifting energy and contemporary electronic sounds. For Playback, she's digging through the decades and bringing her own flavour to the mix — celebrating the tracks, eras and memories that continue to move us.

Whether you're reliving your favourite dance-floor era or creating new memories in retro sportswear, expect a set packed with energy, personality and pure feel-good vibes from one of Auckland's most trusted selectors.

Raised in the icy expanse of Siberia, Sauna found warmth in the pulsing sounds of new wave, synthpop and underground electronic music. What began as a fascination with unconventional rhythms and textures has evolved into a passion for uncovering unique sounds from around the world and sharing them on dance floors across Auckland.

For Playback, Sauna is reaching into the archives of electronic music's past while keeping one foot firmly in the present. Her sets move through a haze of retro synths, driving beats and unexpected twists, creating an atmosphere that's equal parts nostalgic and forward-thinking.

Sometimes gritty. Sometimes melodic. Sometimes downright relentless. But always authentic.

Treasure Hunt — two tickets to our festival, Naked In The Trees (www.nakedinthetrees.co.nz), PLUS a $75 voucher to Naked Kiwi (www.nakedkiwi.nz) will be hidden somewhere in the venue. Details on how to redeem these will be on vouchers so make sure to keep yours once found.

Yearbook Photo Booth — Remember school photos? We're bringing them back, TN.W style. Gather your mates, flash your best grin and become part of the Playback yearbook. Please note that images may be included in a Google Drive folder shared exclusively with event attendees after the event.

Polaroid Portraits — Capture a moment in time with a one-off instant photograph to take home. Old-school, imperfect and impossible to replicate.

The Mixtape Wall — Every life has a soundtrack. Add the song that reminds you of a first love, a friendship, a road trip, a heartbreak or a wild night out. We'll turn the collection into a community playlist after the event.

Games Corner — Challenge old friends and new ones to Giant Jenga, Connect 4 and a collection of nostalgic games designed to bring strangers together.

Body Painting — George Copeland, one of our favourite body art talents, will be adding retro-inspired designs, bold colours and playful details to those wanting an extra layer of expression between 9pm and midnight. @34glam
